WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF A PLANET’S POSITION IN A BHAVA (HOUSE) IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY

In order to understand about the significance of a planet’s position in a bhava / house in vedic astrology one need to understand the condition of ourself when we are in our home.

Lets understand the conditions :

When we are at our own home, then we can express more freely and have full freedom of our expression as we are very comfortable in our home.

The same is the condition with the planet also when they are in their own home i.e their own rashi / zodiac and give their results of that house more comfortably.

Suppose we rent a home, we are still the boss of our home as we are staying inside that home and have control over it. Although the we are not the owner of the home but still will have our control inside it.

The same happens with the planet when they are in other rashi / zodiac house / bhava, they still have control of that house and gives its results pertaining to that house also.

So a planet is a house take part in signifying the events of that house along with the combination with other planets and house of the horoscope in vedic astrology.

The house / bhava is divided into small zones called nakshatra. Each nakshatra is represented by a planet called nakshatra lord.

The exact position of the planet in a house / bhava will determine the correct nakshatra on which it is positioned in that house.

In vedic astrology the dictum says that a planet gives results of it nakshatra lord first. So from the exact position of the planet in a house one can determine the nakshatra lord and its significances to learn about the events signified by that planet.

As per KP vedic astrology the exact position of the planet in a house / bhava will give one the information regarding the nakshatra lord and the sublord of that planet.

A planet gives results of its nakshatra lord and it self becomes the source of it and the sublord shows the quality of the events.
