WHAT IS THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KP ASTROLOGY AND VEDIC ASTROLOGY

Let us understand the differences in layman’s language ( well a bit of astrology knowledge will be much more better to understand it quickly ). I am not confusing.

To learn KP astrology one need to learn first the basics of vedic astrology, so vedic astrology is the mother of KP astrology.

The major difference in vedic and KP astrology is in the way of doing the prediction of an event. The method / technique of arriving at the prediction are different which differentiate the 2 kind system of astrology.

In vedic astrology the combination of the planets gives a prediction given as dictum by the Rishis and Sages which are re-confirmed by the divisional chart.

The divisional chart speaks about the real nature of the planet than that of the lagna chart or D1 chart.

For every prediction one need to refer the divisional chart to reconfirm the nature of the planet as shown by the D1 chart.

In KP astrology every event is govern by some house and the sublord that house will speak about the event of that house.

Every event is governed by the significance of many houses. The sublord of a house speaks about the event and its quality.

According to KP astrology the events of a house is decided by the sublord of that house. A planet give results of the nakshatra lords, the planet itself becomes the source of the results and the sublord signifies the quality of the result. It also show positive or negative of the outcome of an event.

But both vedic as well KP astrology can predict equally accurate prediction if the learned astrologer uses the correct way of analysis be it in vedic or KP astrology.

In learning astrology it is up to the student to decide what branch of astrology they prefer to learn or study.
