UNDERSTANDING MALEFIC PLANET IN KENDRA, MY VIEW WITH A TWIST
Vedic astrology is a complex shastra and not every answer is a straight forward one.
The prediction in a horoscope is cumulations of many small parameters which are weaved together to interpret a meaning and that’s we call prediction.
In Vedic horoscope analysis there are natural malefic and functional malefic.
A functional malefic planet can be a natural benefic planet also Eg Jupiter.
So in Vedic astrology when a malefic planet is located in the kendra ( 1, 4, 7 and 10th house ) then it will give its impact on that house but it cannot be guaranteed that it will give full negative results only.
A natural malefic planet can be a functional benefic planet and so it will give good results apart from it natural negative nature.
According to KP Vedic astrology padhatti / system a planet is considered negative when it signifies negative houses according to the demand of the event.
It need not be always that the planet needs to signify only 6,8 and 12th house to be negative.
Not going much into teaching, if a negative planet is there in the Kendra then it will spoil the signification of that house ( a single house shows many events ). The aspects / dristi of planet will also give its impact on the houses it aspect. Example Mars has 4,7 and 8th aspect / dristi.
Now there is a catch and that is not every person will experience the same impact / results of a same malefic planet in a same position. It will differ from person to person as the nature of the planet can get altered due to conjunction with other planet, aspect from a benefic planet, degree of the planet and the current ruling mahadasha period.
One can learn the actual impact of a malefic planet only after studying the horoscope from all the angles as just saying that a negative planet in the kendra will always give negative results is absolutely untrue.
Astrology is really complex shastra. What looks to be a easy prediction, I gave a twist and now you are etching your head ha ha ha ha . . . .
