MY VIEW : Definitely multiple planets in the first house in Vedic astrology will have their significances.

For example when we cook with only one spice then it will have one taste and when we add one more spice then it will have an additional taste of that spice and again one more then there will be multiple tastes of all the spices.

Same is with the planets also as every planet have their own nature and are significator of certain events of our life and so they will contribute their energy in activating their qualities and display it thru that house significance.

The rashi of the house also have their impact on the nature of the planets.

There are many principles in learning the significances of the planet as per the branch of Vedic astrology.

For example according to KP Vedic astrology, a planet gives its results thru its nakshatra lord and the planet itself becomes the source of it and the sublord of the planet shows the quality of that results.

So, in a nutshell there is definitely impact on the significances when multiple planets are in first house.
