IS SPIRITUAL KETU VERY HARMFUL
QUESTION ASKED : Why do Vedic astrologers consider Ketu as spiritual? In real life, people suffer because of Ketu, so I can not believe Ketu has something with spirituality when it does so much harm.
MY VIEW : Ketu is a very complex and mysterious planet in Vedic astrology and it represents the past karma and the detachment from the material world. Ketu is also associated with spirituality, enlightenment, liberation, and transcendence.
In spirituality to attend enlightenment, liberation, and transcendence one need to follow the path of detachment and ketu does it very well as it is its basic nature.
Vedic astrologers consider Ketu as spiritual because it is believed that Ketu can help the native to overcome the illusions and attachments of the worldly life and attain the ultimate truth and freedom. Ketu can also bestow mystical experiences, psychic abilities, and intuition to the native.
However, Ketu is not always benevolent and easy to deal with. It can also cause confusion, chaos, loss, suffering, and isolation to the native. Ketu can also create obstacles, delays, and challenges in the native’s life, especially in the areas related to the house and sign where it is placed in the birth chart. Ketu can also amplify the effects of the planets that it is conjunct or aspected by it.
Therefore, Ketu is a planet that requires a lot of patience, wisdom, and surrender from the native. It is not a planet that can be controlled or manipulated by the native.
It is a planet that teaches the native to let go of the ego and the worldly desires and to embrace the spiritual path. Ketu is a planet that can help the native to achieve the highest goal of life, which is moksha or liberation from the cycle of birth and death.
