HOW IS THE PROCEDURE OF ASTROLOGY PRESCRIBED

The answer cannot be a straight forward one as in astrology there are many branches and every branch of astrology has their way of interpretation.

Lets understand it with examples

In traditional astrology like Prashari astrology one interprets the prediction after the analysis of the D1 chart along with the divisional chart. The divisional chart is referred as per the question of the querent.

For example : for marriage one will study the D1 chart as well as the Navamsha chart.

In KP astrology padhatti / system, for marriage one will study the significances of the 7th cuspal sublord.

In Jamini astrology the Darakaraka Planet is considered for life partner. Darakaraka planet is the lowest degree among all the planet in a horoscope. The dictums are laid down for each kind of planets.

So to prescribe astrology one need to master at least one method / brach of astrology ( in example I have presented only 3, but there are many more branches ).

Some people may ask pin point questions and another people will ask to talk about the horoscope in general. So accordingly, one should take up the task and read the horoscope.

One thing that an astrologer should understand while consulting is the strength of the client to with stand with negative predictions.

There are few people who becomes very sad, sentimental and disappointed with the negative predictions.

There are also people who charge back after negative predictions and some time break down also.

So consulting is an art and understanding human emotion is very important is astrology consultation.
