DESH KAAL AND PATRA IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY

No vedic astrology is not relevant to Hindu only, it is for all people around the world.

This is an obvious question that comes to our mind as all the planets of astrology is related with the Hindu mythology and stories of Hindu Gods.

Well, the mythology and stories of God as per astrology are the reference point for understanding the nature of the planets.

According to vedic astrology the dictums are to be predicted as per Desh kaal and Patra i.e Country / place / geographical location , as per Time / period and the native / individual.

To understand this I will explain it step by step.

Suppose there is a horoscope of an individual from India and has multiple marriage in his destiny, then as per our country he can marry only after divorcing the first or if his spouse is dead. So an astrologer also need to study the legal separation part in the horoscope specially.

Where as for the same kind of multiple marriage in destiny need no special study for legal separation as that country allow multiple marriages without separation legally. Here we understand about the DESH which helps astrology in giving correct predictions.

As we know in vedic astrology, an individual gets married when his 7th house of the horoscope gets activated.

But the 7th house gets activated in many occasions in one’s life but that does not mean that the person will get married so many times. Absolutely no.

There are some communities who get the children get married in very small age. So here timing of the marriage will vary with community to community. What is very early age for marriage for other is a normal for that community. So, the timing of an event that is KAAL differ from community to community.

Generally, in our country people at the age of 70s do not prefer to marry, but in few countries that is very normal and so if there is a activation of 7th house in our will be interpreted in different way and in for other country where marriage in that age is normal will be predicted as marriage for that individual. So the concept of PATRA that is an individual is understood which also helps in arriving at correct predictions.
